CCHT-A (also written CCHTA) is the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician – Advanced exam from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission. It recognises technicians who work at an advanced level of dialysis practice, such as precepting new colleagues.
The NNCC CCHT-A blueprint groups content into clinical, technical, role responsibilities and environment areas, with clinical practice weighted most heavily. It suits technicians who precept, lead or otherwise work beyond entry-level duties.
